  1. Hi Tessa……tried the exact recipe and the buns turned out perfect. Could not look or taste any better. I'll never buy another hamburger bun, dinner roll, etc… again. The only difference is when I was mixing the recipe, my dough did not seem as "wet" as your dough…..maybe I could have used a little less flour?

  2. And for us using the metric system…

    3 tablespoons warm milk
    2,3 dl warm water
    2 1/4 teaspoons (1 packet) instant yeast
    2 1/2 tablespoons granulated sugar
    1 large egg
    7 dl (380 grams) bread flour (do not substitute this)
    0,8 dl (40 grams) all-purpose flour
    1 1/2 teaspoons fine salt
    3 tablespoons (40 grams) unsalted butter, at room temperature
