  1. Venison is a great flavored meat, that can be used in so many recipes. I have actually been making enchiladas with my venison roast. I cook the venison like I would beef, and also use Mexican flavored seasonings such as cumin, chili powder….I cook the meat until it's fork tender and ready to be shredded and used for enchiladas. This can be done in a slow cooker, it cooks the meat until its fall of the fork tender and well seasoned, and ready to be shredded!
