BBQ Teriyaki Pork Burgers

Ingredients:

1 1/3 lb Lean Ground Pork
¼ cup fine dry bread crumbs
¼ tsp. garlic powder
¼ tsp. pepper
2 Tbsp chopped onions
2 green onions,chopped
2 Tbsp. soya sauce
2 Tbsp. orange juice concentrate,thawed
¼ tsp ginger
1 tsp brown sugar
4 hamburger buns.

Method:

Combine all ingredients.Form into 4 patties using BurgerMate.Preheat Barbecue on high. Reduce heat to medium. Barbecue 5-10 minutes per side or until no pink remains.Always cook ground pork until well done.

Serve on hamburger buns with your favorite condiments.For a new taste sensation, serve on a hamburger or Kaiser bun and layer sliced oranges,sliced kiwi and sliced strawberries over the meat.

Pork and Pepperoni Pizza Burgers

Ingredients:

1 pound ground pork
1/2 cup chopped pepperoni (about 2 ounces)
1/2 cup Italian-style dry breadcrumbs
1/2 cup prepared pizza sauce
1/2 teaspoon dried oregon leaves
1 cup (4 ounces) shredded Mozzarella cheese
4 sandwich buns

Directions:

In a medium bowl,stir together ground pork,pepperoni,bread crumbs,pizza sauce and oregano. Shape mixture into 4 patties using BurgerMate.Grill or broil burgers for 5 mintues per side, until an instant read thermometer reads 160 degrees F.Place burgers on buns;top each patty with cheese.

Tofu Burger

Ingredients:

1 package Tofu Burger Patty Mix
1 (12 oz.) package House Premium Tofu Extra Firm or 1 (14 oz.) package House Premium Tofu Firm
2 tomatoes,sliced
1 red onion,sliced
Lettuce
4 hamburger buns sliced in half

Directions:

1. Take Tofu out of the container, remove excess water by wrapping Tofu in paper towels and microwave on high for 1 min.(Caution: Tofu may be hot to touch after microwaving).

2. In a bowl,thoroughly mix Tofu,Tofu Burger Patty Mix and all other recipe requested ingredients.Shape into 4 patties using BurgerMate.

Crab Cake Burgers

Ingredients:

1 pound crab meat,
1 egg, lightly beaten
1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
1/4 cup light mayonnaise
2 tablespoons minced chives
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon celery seed
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
4 dashes hot sauce, such as Tabasco, or to taste
1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
teaspoons unsalted butter

Directions:

Mix crab,egg,breadcrumbs,mayonnaise,chives,mustard,lemon juice,celery seed,onion powder,pepper and hot sauce in a large bowl.Form into patties using BurgerMate. Heat oil and butter in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat until the butter stops foaming.Cook the patties until golden brown,about 4 minutes per side.

Herbed Salmon Burgers

Ingredients:

2 medium potatoes
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
12 ounces cooked fresh salmon or canned
1 egg
1 egg white

Directions:

Bring a medium pot of water to a boil. Peel and cube the potatoes.Simmer the potatoes until tender about 20 minutes.Drain and place in a medium mixing bowl and mash with a fork.Add the lemon juice,dill,parsley,and salmon.Mix well.

In a small mixing bowl, whisk the egg and egg white until foamy.Add to the salmon mixture and fold until combined.Form the mixture into patties using BurgerMate.Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.Bring the grill to a medium-high heat.
