Veggie Burgers

Ingredients
1 Tablespoon Olive Oil,divided
1/2 Cup Minced Onion
1/2 Cup Minced Green or Red Pepper
1/2 Cup Minced Carrot
1/2 Cup Minced Celery
1 (15 oz.) Can Cannelloni Beans
2 Eggs, lightly beaten
2/3 Cup Seasoned Dried Bread Crumbs
1/4 – 1/2 Cup Chicken Broth
Garlic Powder

Directions
Save time and use a food processor to mince your vegetables.In a large nonstick skillet, heat 1/4 cup of chicken broth.Add minced vegetables (onion,pepper,carrot and celery).Cook over medium heat,stirring occasionally,until veggies are soft and moisture has evaporated.You may need to add a little more broth if your veggies aren’t soft.Set aside to cool slightly.

Honey Pineapple Burgers

Ingredients
1 1/3 lb. lean ground beef
1/2 tsp. onion powder
2 Tbsp. teriyaki sauce
2 Tbsp. honey
1/2 cup crushed pineapple, drained
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
4 Kaiser rolls

Basting sauce
1/3 cup crushed pineapple, with juice
3 Tbsp. honey
1/8 tsp. red pepper

Directions
Combine ingredients for basting sauce in microwave-safe glass bowl.Heat in microwave 1 1/2 minutes on HIGH,until mixture is warm.Hold and use for basting during last few minutes of cooking burgers.

Vietnamese Grilled Pork Burgers

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons plus 1 teaspoon vegetable oil, plus more for brushing
2 large garlic cloves, minced
2 Thai chilies or 1 large jalapeño, minced
1 large shallot, thinly sliced
3 tablespoons rice wine or dry white wine
One 16-ounce can plain tomato sauce
3 1/2 tablespoons Asian fish sauce
1 1/2 pounds ground pork
1/2 cup minced onion
4 large canned water chestnuts, minced
3 tablespoons cornstarch
2 tablespoons chopped cilantro leaves, plus 12 large sprigs
1 tablespoon Korean-style kimchi
2 teaspoons soy sauce
1 1/2 teaspoons freshly ground pepper
1/2 teaspoon Asian sesame oil
1 large egg beaten with 2 tablespoons water,
French bread rolls or pieces of baguette
Quick Pickled Carrots
Hot sauce, for serving

Sausage Burgers with Grilled Green Chilies

Ingredients:

2 1/2 pounds ground pork
2 tablespoons minced garlic,plus 4 garlic cloves,thinly sliced
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
1 teaspoon crushed red pepper
1 teaspoon chopped thyme
Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper
5 large fresh Anaheim chilies
1 large poblano chili
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
1/2 teaspoon chopped rosemary
6 ounces Gruyère or Italian Fontina cheese,cut into 6 slices about 1/4 inch thick
6 ciabatta or kaiser rolls, split and lightly toasted
1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons whole-grain or Dijon mustard
2 cups arugula leaves
1 large Creole tomato (see Note) or beefsteak tomato,cut into 6 slices

Pork Burgers with Sage

Ingredients:

1/2 cup dry Marsala
1 tablespoon kosher salt
2 1/3 pounds ground pork
3 tablespoons minced fresh sage
1 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
1/2 teaspoon pimentón
Pure olive oil,for brushing
7 hamburger buns

Directions:

In a small saucepan,combine the Marsala and salt and bring to a boil.Simmer over moderate heat until reduced by one-third, about 4 minutes. Let cool to room temperature.In a large bowl, gently mix the pork with the Marsala, sage, pepper and pimentón until evenly seasoned.Shape the meat into burgers with BurgerMate. Light the grill.
